Vareniki are a great hearty dish. Stuffed with cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, jam and wrapped in homemade dough, they will appeal to both adults and children! This time I am sharing with you the simplest recipe, that is why they are called lazy.
Ingredients:
Cottage cheese – 250 grams
Flour – 3 tablespoons
Egg – 1 pc
Water – 2 liters
Vegetable oil – 1 teaspoon
Sugar – 1 tablespoon
Salt – 1 pinch
Preparation:
- Mash the cottage cheese. Add salt, sugar, egg, flour and knead the dough.
- Roll the dough into a sausage, sprinkling it with flour. Cut into equal-sized cubes.
- Boil the water, add salt, and vegetable oil.
- Put the dough cubes into boiling water and stir.
- The dumplings are ready when they float to the surface.
- Before serving, sprinkle the dumplings with coconut flakes.
- Serve with sour cream, jam or any syrup.
