These are fragrant, soft buns. They will give a wonderful taste during tea drinking with your family.
Ingredients:
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons
Warm water – 1 cup
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Sugar – 2 teaspoons
Baking powder – 7 g
Onion – 1 large head
Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Greens (dill, parsley) – 20 g
Knead the dough
- Sift flour, add baking powder, salt, sugar.
- Add vegetable oil and water.
- Knead elastic dough, cover with film and put in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare the filling
The filling can be any (vegetable, meat, fish). I suggest the simplest and most budget-friendly filling – onion.
Cut the onion into half rings, salt, add a pinch of sugar, sprinkle with lemon juice, mix and leave for 5-7 minutes.
Fry the onion in vegetable oil until transparent. Cool.
Finely chop the greens, add to the onion.
Prepare the buns
- Divide the dough into 4 parts.
- Roll each part out very thinly.
- Put the filling on the dough layer, distribute evenly.
- Roll into a roll, stretch a little, twist into spirals.
- Line the baking sheet with baking paper.
- Put the buns on the baking sheet, prick with a fork, grease with vegetable oil.
- Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
