Baked turkey with cornelian berry sauce

Baked turkey is a very appetizing and light dish. It can be made even more flavorful if you make a sauce of cornel berries.

Ingredients:

  • Turkey fillet – 800 g.
  • Ground black pepper
  • Salt

For the sauce:

  • Cornel berries – 1 cup
  • Prunes – 5 pcs
  • Water – 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Salt and pepper the turkey fillets and place them in a baking dish with a lid. The turkey meat can be wrapped in foil.
  2. Bake in the oven for 50 minutes at 180 degrees.
  3. While the turkey meat is baking it is necessary to prepare a sauce of cornel berries. The recipe for the sauce is here.
  4. Take the fillet out of the oven and smear with the sauce. Bake for another 15 minutes.
  5. Cut the finished fillet into portioned pieces, decorate with herbs and serve with sauce.
