Avocado with egg and cheese

Many people know about the beneficial properties of avocado fruits. The encyclopedia assures that this plant was cultivated as early as the third millennium BC. Now avocado fruits of varying degrees of ripeness can be purchased in almost any supermarket all year round.

I really love avocado fruits. I prepare salads, sandwiches, hot dishes with them. And the Mexican snack guacamole, I think, is known to everyone. Today I want to share a very simple recipe for a delicious and nutritious breakfast. Cooking time will take only 20 – 30 minutes, and the number of ingredients is minimal:

Avocado – 1 pc

Chicken egg – 2 pcs

Grated cheese – 50 grams

Black pepper

Salt

  1. Choose a large avocado (medium ripeness), cut it in half lengthwise and remove the pit. To make it easier to separate the avocado in two, turn the halves around the pit in different directions after cutting.
  2. Break the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites.
  3. Place the avocado halves in a baking dish. First, make a small cut in the skin from the bottom. This will make them more stable.
  4. Use a spoon to enlarge the depression from the pit and pour the yolks into them.
  5. Place the avocado in the oven for 10 minutes, preheated to 200 degrees.
  6. Remove the avocado from the oven and carefully add the white to the top.
  7. Season with salt, pepper and sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Bake for another 5 minutes.

If desired, you can decorate the prepared avocado with green onions or other greens, you can add your favorite vegetables (I like fresh tomatoes) and breakfast is ready. Serve the dish hot on the table.
