Sometimes you want to cook not only a tasty but also a beautiful dish. Today I wanted a beetroot dish. The appetizer is not at all difficult to prepare.
This time I prepared the appetizer with cottage cheese, but you can also use cheese.

And today we will need the following ingredients:
Beetroot – 1 pc
Cottage cheese – 300 grams
Parsley – 20 grams
Garlic – 2 cloves
Black pepper
Salt
For the sauce:
Lemon – 1/2 pc
Soy sauce – 1 teaspoon
Mustard – 1/2 teaspoon
Olive oil – 1 teaspoon
- Boil the beets.
- Finely chop the parsley.
- Grate the garlic.
- Mix the cottage cheese, parsley, pepper, salt and garlic in a bowl.
- Cut the beets into 0.5 cm thick circles.
- Cut out a circle from each piece of beet.
- Place the cottage cheese mixture in an even layer on the beet circle.
- Place several more layers of beets and cottage cheese mixture on top, one after the other.
- For the sauce, squeeze lemon juice into a bowl and add soy sauce, mustard and olive oil. Mix and pour over the prepared appetizer.
- When serving, garnish with balsamic vinegar and herbs. You can sprinkle with chopped nuts.
