Guacamole is a Mexican vegetable snack, similar in consistency to a sauce. This dish is served with nachos (corn chips) or bread. It can be used as a sauce for meat and fish dishes.
The main ingredients of guacamole are ripe avocado pulp and lime juice (prevents the avocado pulp from darkening). The remaining vegetables and spices serve to diversify and enhance the flavors.
We will need:
Avocado – 2 pcs.
Lime (or lemon) – 1 pc.
Hot pepper (chili or jalapeno) – to taste
Salt – to taste
Add vegetables to your taste!
Tomato – 1 pc.
Onion – 1 pc.
Spinach – 20 g
Preparation:
1. Cut the avocado lengthwise to the pit, turn the halves around their axis in different directions. The fruit will open, and the pit can be easily removed.
2. Separate the avocado pulp from the skin (you can use a teaspoon), place it in a bowl, and mash with a fork.
3. Squeeze the lime (lemon) juice. Pour over the avocado pulp.
4. Peel and chop the vegetables.
5. Place all ingredients in a blender, add spices. Grind everything.
Serve with toast, bread or corn chips.
