Galettes are simple and flavorful cookies. Perfect for a light snack or tea time.
Ingredients:
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Bran breadcrumbs – 1 cup
Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons
Dry white wine – 1 tablespoon
Dried Provencal herbs – 1 tablespoon
Black pepper, ground paprika – to taste
Salt – ½ teaspoon
Sugar – ½ teaspoon
Sesame – 1 tablespoon
Preparation:
- Sift flour, add salt, sugar, spices, wine and butter.
- Knead a stiff dough, gradually adding breadcrumbs with bran.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm. Cut circles or squares from the dough.
- Cover the baking sheet with baking paper, grease with butter.
- Place the biscuits on the baking sheet, prick with a fork, grease with vegetable oil on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
- The biscuits can be served with cream soup and vegetable puree.
