Want an easy and quick recipe for scones for tea? Prepare vatrushki. This is a wonderful baked good.
Ingredients:
Milk – 250 ml
Sugar – 3 tbsp.
Vanillin – 1 teaspoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Dry yeast – 1 sachet (5 g)
Egg – 1 pc.
Flour – 450 g
Vegetable oil – 50 g
Cottage cheese – 200 g
Preparation:
- Prepare the opara. Heat half the milk, add 1 spoonful of sugar and the yeast. Stir, leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.
- Separate the egg white from the yolk. Beat the white. Add 1 spoon of sugar, salt, vanillin, the remaining milk, vegetable oil. Mix everything. Add opara (should increase in volume).
- Sift the flour. Gradually add the flour to the opara, knead the dough.
- Cover the dough with foil and leave it in a warm place for 35-40 minutes. The dough should double in volume.
- Prepare the filling. Knead the cottage cheese with a fork. Add 1 spoonful of sugar, mix.
- Divide the dough into equal parts 8-9, make balls, place on a tray greased with oil or covered with baking paper. Cover with a towel and leave for 5 minutes.
- Make a hole in each dough ball and fill with filling. Grease the patrushki with egg yolk (add a little milk or water to the yolk).
- Bake the watrushki in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes.
