Buns “Snails with filling”

These are fragrant, soft buns. They will give a wonderful taste during tea drinking with your family.

Ingredients:

Wheat flour – 2 cups

Vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons

Warm water – 1 cup

Salt – 1 teaspoon

Sugar – 2 teaspoons

Baking powder – 7 g

Onion – 1 large head

Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

Greens (dill, parsley) – 20 g

Knead the dough

  1. Sift flour, add baking powder, salt, sugar.
  2. Add vegetable oil and water.
  3. Knead elastic dough, cover with film and put in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

Prepare the filling

The filling can be any (vegetable, meat, fish). I suggest the simplest and most budget-friendly filling – onion.

Cut the onion into half rings, salt, add a pinch of sugar, sprinkle with lemon juice, mix and leave for 5-7 minutes.

Fry the onion in vegetable oil until transparent. Cool.

Finely chop the greens, add to the onion.

Prepare the buns

  1. Divide the dough into 4 parts.
  2. Roll each part out very thinly.
  3. Put the filling on the dough layer, distribute evenly.
  4. Roll into a roll, stretch a little, twist into spirals.
  5. Line the baking sheet with baking paper.
  6. Put the buns on the baking sheet, prick with a fork, grease with vegetable oil.
  7. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
