Homemade cinnamon buns are a special treat that will put you in a good mood. They are very quick and easy to make, so these buns are perfect not only for a special occasion, but can also be served for breakfast at any time of the year. Soft, airy and aromatic, cinnamon buns are sure to please your whole family!
Ingredients:
Warm water – 125 ml
Dry yeast – 7 g (1 packet)
Sugar – 5 tablespoons
Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
Salt – ½ teaspoon
Butter – 100 g
Vegetable oil – 1 tablespoon
Sour cream – 1 tablespoon
Milk – 50 ml
Flour – 450 – 500 g
Egg – 1 pc.
- Pour warm water and milk into a deep bowl. Add sour cream and stir.
- Add salt, vanilla, 2 tablespoons of sugar. Stir.
- Sift the flour, add dry yeast (fast), stir.
- Heat the butter, add to the dough.
- Add about 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Knead the dough, cover with film and leave in a warm place for 45 minutes. The dough should rise and double in size.
- Put the dough on the table, divide into equal parts (12-15). Roll the dough into balls. Cover with a towel or cling film.
- Whip the egg with cream or milk.
- Add cinnamon to three tablespoons of sugar, stir.
- Roll out each ball of dough, grease with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, roll into a tube, roll into a snail. Place on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
- Bake the buns in the oven at 190-200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
